Spies

For this page in the Economist I wanted to convey an atmosphere of secrecy and intrigue.

Red - black koalition

for this page in der Freitag I was asked to produce a simple image of arm wrestlers. I opted for a technique that would bring out the tension and drama of the subject matter.

Visit my stand ottoGraphic at Basel Artists' Bookfair, I Never Read, 13-16 June2013

Go and see the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2013. It's well worth it. And I'm not just saying that because my book Paper Plane is there.
The selection of prints is of very high quality this year. Gone are pictures of cute cats, dogs, hamsters, etc. (as much as I love small cuddly animals)
RA Summer exhibition has got interesting!

The Modern Constructivist is out. This Artists' Book consists of 3 parts: an 'original' stencilled edition of 20, and two smaller screen printed 'copies', edition of 50 each, one of which is 'clean' and the other contains all traces of stencilling.

Press and Release, Phoenix Brighton May 2013
Press and Release is an artists' book exhibition, curated by Karin Mori, at Phoenix in Brighton. The quality of the book work, as well as the display is ground-breaking. The presentation structures are by the sculptor and carpenter Ben Thomson, and he's done an amazing job. And luckily, books by Ottographic are there too.
If you are into book art, this event is not to be missed.

the author discusses the possibility of a European army, especially sharing equipment and technology. He argues that Europe might be better served with a peace keeping force.
